In what ways could average people make our World different more suitable for all peoples to live in?
My question here, which is going to be rather detailed, and maybe even a bit impossible to answer, but, here I go. Why do we keep living the way we do, and why, since we have enough people to be able to speak up and create change, do we not try to make things better, and not even attempt in solving problems, with out the beliefs that it is impossible, and that no matter how hard we try, money is the only answer? I have been thinking a lot about it, and it really really doesn't make sense that we can just sit here living day after day in a world with so much corruption, with holes open to fix it. It bothers me, and I really would like to see people trying more to really take part in what we do as people, not just countries in general, (I believe countries are equivalent to sports teams, but only greedier, and not for athleticism, but for control and power...) anyway, that's besides the point in asking; why do we need to make ourselves go through these horrible times, when in actuallity, the economy isn't crashing, they only tell us it is, since we happen to be believing this paper has value (even though it isn't backed up by anything else with real value) and hey, why do we need to be fighting a war now when something like 9/11 happened which we don't even know why it did happen, and I can bet you rightfully that not many of you have actually done research past watching CNN, ABC news, FOX, or any other one of the corrupt, and biased news channels, which in turn, disappoints me because we have so much more of an open source to view opinions, ask questions, and find things out from primary sources. I really hope some of you take the time to look at this question, which yes, is basically like an essay question, but hey, I'm seriously asking this, and it is a very sensitive and interesting topic, which I'd love to take part in, so please send both sides, and any other opinions, and I will read everything open-mindfully. Overall, I just want to get people thinking, and hopefully you can just take some time to think about things, and just get things you've been wondering about out in the open, and just see where it goes from there. I mean, did you know that under the pentagon there is enough nuclear weaponry power to destroy the entire earth in a matter of minutes. Yes, this is something I have heard from a friend of mine who was in the military, and I don't think that's going to really make too many people happy, now that I just told all of you. There's a lot of scamming, BS, and stupidity that has been obscenely destroying a healthier way of life, and a much better, and possible system of living in which people don't live for the "necessary evil" which is money, but more for the fact of living life wondering, discovering, and doing things on your own, working, but not being forced to do the same thing every day. Yes there could be chaos, but with the technology we have now, I believe the people can be relieved of needing to work, and thus forth bringing a surplus of products, including a surplus of necessities, such as food, and clothes, and much more. There is so much information out there, for everyone. More than you'll ever be able to read in 1,000 lifetimes. No matter what, we all share the same earth. If we keep on fighting these pointless wars, and bringing politics into everyday life, a lot could really change in the near future, which will bring us to our knees, as a society, and a planet. Taking this entire large question/description from a 16 year old kid, depressed being in a Technical school, one of the best in the U.S (*look up Bergen County Academies) and being there for telecommunications, which is sadly just work, and not learning. It is only being a drone, and I feel the need to express myself, which is something I rarely can do, I can tell you, things are really sad. I go to school from 7:30 to 4:10 every day with 40 minute long bus rides each way, and it feels so terrible being here, which thankfully I am finally leaving tomorrow, and transferring into a school where I will be taking art classes as major classes (I am a sophomore now...) and this whole time being in my school makes me wonder if I am even worth being here and living. I really, to be honest, just expressed how I am feeling right now about everything involving how messed up things are. I just think it isn't fair to be putting these things upon people, and making things so much worse for us. Face the facts: There are ways to help people everywhere. We just need to be more selfless, and stop relying on such a core evil of greediness and supreme mastery. I'm surprised I even wrote this much, but if you actually got through reading this, that's more than enough for me to make me happy and give you a lot of respect. Thanks to everyone who acknowledged this, and I hope to you that you atleast do some research, because I sorta answered the question voicing my

I agree with you that there is so very much wrong with our world that selflessness would go a long way toward curing. If everyone would give even two hours a week volunteer free for the cause of their choice and even 5 or 10 dollars. The world would be a much better place. Also abortions have greatly surpassed the number of innocent people killed in the holocaust. If all religious people stood up for human life, we would all have more self respect. Not only soldiers die in wars, so do children. This is why we should resist the need to war. This is a start. There is so much more to do. Peace be unto you my friend. Good luck at your new school. Do NOT major in art like I did because there are no good jobs.
